Donati wrote this book to construct the text he believed was missing from Galen's works. A "judgment" or crisis referred to the critical turning point of a disease. Second edition, the first in Lucca in 1580. Giovanni Battista Donati (1530–ca. 1591), born in Lucca, practiced medicine in Lyon and later in Bordeaux. Engraved mark No. 2 on the title page. A very rare edition that Baudrier (II, 168) quotes based on the Frankfurt Book Fair catalog only. 8vo: (8), 87 ff., (1) f. d'errata. Vélin.
